With the outbreak of the Coronavirus, Jennings Print are taking every precaution to protect our employees, their families, and the community, all while continuing to service the needs of our customers and business partners. We appreciate this is a fluid situation with ongoing adjustments required at very short notice. In this time of uncertainty, we would like to advise you of our Production capabilities, how we are caring for our employees and how this relates to you, our valued client.
As of 18/03/2020, no unauthorised visitors will be permitted in our Print Facility here at Beresfield NSW. Anyone wishing to visit will need to phone in advance, and adhere to strict sanitisation procedures before being granted entry. All of Jennings Print staff have been instructed to utilise NSW Health Departments best practice hygiene measures, in order to protect both themselves and fellow employees. This includes correct hand sanitation practice, along with regular machinery and workstation cleaning to minimise contamination between shift changeover procedures. We will also be monitoring and recording body temperature of each employee twice daily, as this is a key early indicator of potential infection. Any abnormalities will be immediately acted upon with regards to isolation and medical treatment. Should any of our employees become ill, we have protocols in place to continue production and servicing you, our valued client.
With 2 shifts in operation, our production employees have been trained across a variety of machinery platforms, which stands us in good stead for situations such as these. Safe working distance practice has been implemented, with a minimising of one on one contact. Mobile, off site work stations have been arranged for key personnel should the need to self-isolate be required. This will eliminate any delay in meeting production timelines. We have been in contact with all of our key suppliers, and have been advised paper and consumables supply will not be affected in the foreseeable future. We also have significant store holdings both on and off site. In regards to sales and servicing of accounts, we will take advice from the Australian Government in minimising face to face contact in the short to medium term. Your Jennings Print Sales Representative will be in contact with you soon to discuss how we can maintain your level of service, while adjusting to your business’s current circumstances.
Please be assured that the Jennings Print Group appreciates the difficult commercial situation that currently exists, and are determined to help you navigate through it for a successful outcome.
